May the Matt Lucas Be With You!
Tuesday May 31, 2022
Tuesday May 31, 2022
May brings the incredibly cool Matt C. Lucas to the Mythbehavers show. Judge, non Florida Man, Florida Man, and author extraordinaire, a lot lies under the surface of this calm looking man. His latest book, Yonder and Far, had Rob positively gushing. Hear all about this neat cat who sits on the Appellant Judge' s Bench during the day, and pens beautifully prose by night. His work has appeared everywhere from Bards and Sages Quarterly to Swords and Sorcery Magazine. It was our pleasure to have such a hard working and inspirational fellow on our show!
You can find Matt at: matthewclucas.com where he has a 'sometimes' writing blog. Thanks for coming on the show Matt!

Never mind the bunnies and chocolate, April brings us the creator of the hit TV series, Ghost Whisperer, John Gray. This magnificent guest helped us kick off our newly named show with fascinating tales of writing screen plays, the novel he felt proud enough of to bring to light and his own personal experience with the supernatural. John was an affable, funny, endearing guest and it was an honor and a pleasure to have him on our show.

Wade Garrett -Space Pirate Extraordinaire
Monday Dec 06, 2021
Monday Dec 06, 2021
Frosty December brings us the wonderful gift of Wade Garrett! This cool guest hails from Atlanta, Georgia and aside from having the most fantabulously titled book 'The Ghosts of the Scattered Kingdoms," he is a goldmine of nerdy trivia. Some MAJOR spoilers for The Mandalorian and Dune are in this episode so if you haven't watched either, you may want to cover your ears in some parts. Wade is a funny, enthusiastic gem of a writer and we got on with him so well, that we'll be having him back for some of our pop culture reviewcasts coming next year (more on that later). In the meantime, to all you Page Turners out there, have a safe and happy holiday!

Happy Hallowversary!!!
Happy Halloween and Happy One Year Anniversary to Karai and Rob!
As promised, here is our 2nd episode featuring the spooktacular Sean Austin. Sean is a paranormal researcher, author and musician. He's investigated a plethora of famous hauntings and was featured on Discovery Channel's Ghost Loop and Demon Files. He's got some seriously frightening documentaries on the Scaretv Network, featuring a real case of a possessed pregnant girl. His book was frightening and perfect for tonight. So cozy up for our scariest show yet but leave the lights on!
Also, we'll be taking November off for Nanowritemo but we'll be back in December :) Enjoy!

Tuesday Oct 12, 2021
We're back! All treats, no tricks this October as Page-Turners Karai and Rob bring you not one but two shows this month! Our first October guest is the charming, delightful Danika Stone, author, artist, teacher, and (my personal favorite part) fellow CANADIAN! (Karai's Canadian, Rob isn't but let's not hold that against him). Listen as Danika shares details of her incredible work ethic, her journey to traditional publishing, and wisdom on how to keep your chin up with a pile of rejections on the floor. Danika is a humble and entertaining author with heart, and grit, and the uncanny ability to relate to readers of all ages. It was a privilege to interview this wonderful writer. Enjoy the show!

Jenn Nixon aka Wonder Woman
Friday Jul 23, 2021
Friday Jul 23, 2021
I'm not saying Jenn Nixon is Wonder Woman, but I will say that no one has ever seen her and Wonder Woman in the same room at the same time...
Our July show welcomes the wonderful Jenn Nixon, author of Dante's Hope, Drake's Dream (plus a plethora of other great titles) and marketer/promoter of indie writers everywhere! This was a hilarious show in which we discuss our fictional character crushes, the do's and don'ts of indie marketing, and our shared distaste of some pretty popular books! As always, thank you to our sponsor, Goodwin's Greenhouse Supply and Service. Enjoy!
